The mine was built on January 1, 1956 and is under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Jiaomei Xishan Coal Power Group Co., Ltd. After 5 rounds of renovation and expansion, the annual designed production capacity of the mine is 3.85 million tons. Mining and excavation are fully mechanized, and the main links such as ventilation, electromechanical, transportation, mining equipment, lifting, and gangue selection have all reached the advanced level of similar mines in China.
